I just wanted to share a resource for getting tube or pipe for building staffs or batons. They offer 6061 T6 aluminum (this is aircraft grade) in a variety of diameters, thickness & lengths. I have built my staffs with this & find it to be VERY strong & resilient. It is www.onlinemetals.com

A friend and I are interested in learning the staff. Both of us have extensive martial arts backgrounds. But we need to learn what to buy, safety precautions, and how to pull certain neat moves.

    Any help out there?

      Start you own thread.

Or look at the existing "new to fire staff" threads.

This kinda reminds me when I started learning to unicycle.
I had to learn to do it by myself, until I ran into a group of really
cool circus people that helped me double my progress.

But there was this one busker who acted like it was some best kept secret
and actually would give me wrong advice :(
        not cool.

Just want to thank the people that helped me with all skill sets.
